We are happy to evaluate at any stage, but the more information we have, the better. The vertical slice stage is the ideal time for us to evaluate your project, as this gives us the best representation of your vision for the game. However, we are also happy to evaluate earlier. If you submit a prototype, including supporting materials such as a game design document, it will offer us a clearer understanding of your plans for the final product.

Any! Here at Kwalee we are genre agnostic. We have a team with a large pool of experience from a wide variety of games and genres, the most important thing for us is a fun gameplay loop that will keep players engaged.

The perfect submission includes a pitch, a GDD (game design document), a gameplay video and a build. The pitch should give an overview of the most important points you want to highlight, as well as a budget and an estimated timeline of when you want to release the game. Most importantly, remember to provide your contact information!

Here at Kwalee, we have experience working with all major platforms and publish games on Steam, Epic, Switch, Playstation and Xbox stores. If you have a mobile game for us to look at, please submit to our Mobile Publishing form instead.

We are unable to consider games that have already released, including those that have released into early access.
